Featured above each guest room bed, this traditional kapa pattern was created by Dr. Kalehua Krug, a father, educator, musician, advocate and mea kākau (traditional tattooist). Deeply rooted in Native Hawaiian philosophy, Dr. Krug's design honors ancestral artistry and connection to place. The repeating geometric motifs reflect balance, genealogy and the living pulse of the land, offering guests a quiet reminder that every stay in Hawaii is part of a much larger story.

Born and raised on Oahu's North Shore, Jack is a Native Hawaiian artist known for blending street art energy with fine art storytelling. His bold graphic silhouettes of a woman in a one-piece swimsuit and a tandem surf couple capture Hawaii's timeless rhythm of sun, sea and style.

Lauren Roth’s impressionist-style painting captures the dreamy view of a palm tree reaching toward the sky. With soft color transitions and playful texture, the piece reflects the feeling of calm that defines island living. Originally from New Jersey, Lauren earned her BFA in illustration and art history from the Savannah College of Art and Design before moving to Hawaii in 2009. Her work blends her East Coast roots with the vibrant hues and gentle energy of her island home, creating artwork that radiates warmth, optimism and aloha.
